Correction Policy

PmSeva (hereinafter referred to as “PmSeva” / “We” / “Us” / “Our”) informs its readers, through this Corrections Policy, about the measures We adopt when incorrect or inaccurate information is identified on Our website. We recognize Our responsibility toward Our audience and are committed to correcting errors transparently and at the earliest possible opportunity.

Premise

PmSeva strives to present its audience with accurate, complete, and verified news reports based on the information available at the time of publication. We are committed to promptly correcting any errors in the content published on Our website as soon as they come to Our notice.

As a digital platform, We issue corrections or clarifications on Our website, Our social media platforms, or through an editor’s note, clearly explaining what was corrected and why. In cases of significant errors that may result in misinformation, We issue a timely apology to Our readers.

Updating a Report

When a story is updated, We clearly indicate that an update has been made. If a significant error is corrected or new information—such as comments from stakeholders—is added, We use a correction, clarification, or editor’s note to inform readers.

If an error is identified in Our fact-checking process (conducted in accordance with Our Fact-Check Policy), the article is updated accordingly. A bold notice such as [Correction: Updated Information] is placed at the top of the article, explaining the nature of the correction.

Readers may report errors by emailing contact@pmseva.com, and a “Suggest a Correction” option is also available at the end of every article.

Corrections

When substantive corrections are made to an article, headline, image caption, graphic, video, or other material, We promptly publish a correction clearly explaining the reason for the change.

Clarifications

Clarifications are issued when the information published is factually correct, but the wording lacks clarity or sufficient detail. Clarifications may also be added if a response or comment was initially unavailable and later included, or if new reporting alters the understanding of an event.

Editor’s Notes

If a correction raises concerns about the overall substance of an article or involves a significant ethical issue, an editor’s note may be added. Such notes are approved by a senior editor and include a detailed explanation of the issue.

Other Correction Practices

  • If an error is identified by a reader in the comments section, Our community engagement team may acknowledge and confirm the correction in the comments.
  • If incorrect information is published on social media platforms, We correct it on the same platform or retract it if correction is not possible.
  • We do not attribute errors to individual reporters or editors.

Reporting Inaccuracies

If you believe any content published by PmSeva is inaccurate, please report it using the “Suggest a Correction” section at the end of the article or by emailing contact@pmseva.com.

Take-Down Requests

As a matter of editorial policy, PmSeva does not entertain take-down requests. If a subject claims an article is inaccurate, We review the claim and, if necessary, publish a correction or clarification.

Where fairness requires an update or follow-up, We consider appropriate editorial action but do not remove published content as if it never existed.

Takedown requests involving publicly available personal data are reviewed only if there is a credible threat of physical harm to the individual concerned.

Use of AI Tools

PmSeva may use AI-assisted tools (such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and similar technologies) to help modify or update content. Corrections are implemented promptly once verified. If you request a correction, please provide specific details along with the article link by emailing contact@pmseva.com. We will update the content and images accordingly.
